A recent article posted on Forbes, "Dressing For Success And The Achievement Of Your Dreams", shares a study that shows that people who dress better have more confidence, feel more powerful, and are more focused on details. If you're interested in that, then you should click here. But, if you're like me and just trying to overcome the struggle of rolling out of bed before 2 pm, keep reading.

I, like I'm sure most of you as well, only found out that we would not be allowed to return to campus after I had already left for what I thought would be a relaxed two-week spring break. Boy, was I wrong. But it's fine, I'm fine, we're making it work.
Go scavenge through your childhood drawers, raid siblings closets, and borrow a sweater from your dad. Looking good right now is not a priority, unless you're filming a Tik Tok- then by all means find a cute outfit, blow dry your hair and put on a full face of make up. But, our primary goal is the most comfortable outfit for sinking into the couch, binge watching Netflix, and straight up lamping*.
* "lamping" as a defined in Curb your Enthusiasm season 9 episode 1
Outfit #1:

This is my "I just became a blogger overnight" look.
Glasses are so in right now. Be stingy with your contacts, who even knows when you're going to be able to get those refilled again.
My quarantine staple is this L.L. Bean flannel that I borrowed and "forgot" to return to a nice boy last year and have shamelessly been wearing since. It has no sentimental value, it is just insanely comfortable. I'm sorry, [redacted].
Old yoga pants and my mom's slippers really complete this 'fit.
Outfit #2:

This is my "exactly what I wore in 6th grade" look. Like I said, I didn't pack much... I slept in this and will wear it all day and tomorrow. No shame.
An oldie but a goodie: my middle school town lacrosse sweatshirt. There's nothing quite like a very very very well worn in sweatshirt.
Hand-me-down soccer shorts, also from middle school. But, they're Adidas so that makes it kind of trendy, right?
And, that's it! You really only need two outfits right now. Just alternate between them when the other is in the wash and voila!
In conclusion, take advantage of this weird time where societal standards of looking nice are momentarily suspended. I mean, I rarely put on real outfits when things were normal, so this is like my super bowl.
